Dude that looks amazing! How tight are your joints? What kind of paper are you working with? Since when do you do 3D stuff?

I'm using photo matte paper for the skeleton. Sturdy but I'm not sure it's the best choice. I had it around so I just went with it. I'm going to flesh it out with bristol after the base is complete.

The joints are just simple 1/4inch nut/bolt. The tension is easily adjustable so I'll just tighten the joints to be able to hold the final weight of the puppet against gravity while still being easily movable. I'll have to re-enforce the joints with some wire though.

Little know fact about me, as a kid I use to build tons of shit out of paper/sticks/legos/kinnexs/etc loonnngg before I got into drawing and definitely way before animation. I kinda got away from it somewhere in middle school and really haven't done much of it since. I'm actually more rooted in 3D contruction/building than I am in animation. I guess I'm just going back to my roots. ;)
